DESCRIPTION:November is Native American Heritage Month\, and Connecting Women in Business is hosting a panel discussion on November 18 at Odawa Hotel with women leaders of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.\n\nWe will have a welcome video from Chair Winnay Wemigwase and Vice Chair Eva Oldman\, as they will be attending the National Congress of American Indians Convention and unable to join us in person. \n\n \n\nFor the panel discussion\, we will be joined by Billi Jo Head\, Department of Commerce Director\; Denise Petoskey\, Human Resources Director and Mae Wright Tribal Historic Preservation Officer & NAGPRA Representative. This is a special and unique opportunity to learn more about the work of the tribe in our area and learn more about its impact on our area.  \n\n \n\nRegistration and networking take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The buffet lunch will be available at 11:50 a.m. The panel discussion will begin around 12:20 p.m.\, and the event will conclude at 1:00 p.m. The cost is $35 for CWIB members and $45 for all others.\n\n  \n\nPLEASE NOTE: Registration closes Thursday\, November 13 at 5pm. Any cancellations or no-shows after this time will be charged. \n\n \n\nOur program sponsor is FS Roofing.
