Join us for an evening as we explore the secret lives unfolding beneath the snow. We’ll begin indoors with an illustrated slideshow that reveals the subnivean world where mice, insects, plants, and predators survive and thrive in the narrow space between snow and soil during winter. As the sun sets, those who wish can bundle up and head outside for an optional, lantern-lit snowshoe through the quiet winter landscape. A limited number of snowshoes will be provided.
