Mackinac Straits Open House and Research Update

Wings Over Mackinac.  Please join us for an evening with Mackinac Straits Raptor Watch, including:

• An organizational update from Scott Davis, MSRW Executive Director.
• A report from Nick Alioto, PhD candidate, on his Red-tailed Hawk migration research
• A review of the incredible migration of Monarch butterflies from Michigan to Mexico, by Jeff and Laurie Dykehouse
• A Silent Auction

FREE to attend. A silent auction will be held from 7:30-8pm with over 20 items. 

The Headlands International Dark Sky Park contains 550 acres of pristine woodlands with more than two miles of undeveloped Lake Michigan shoreline.  In 2011, The Headlands became one of the first 10 International Dark Sky Parks in the world – meaning that it will stay dark and protected forever, for viewing the night sky!

Come early and stay late to explore this wonderful park!!!
