LWVNLM is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, & influences public policy through education and advocacy. We never support or oppose any political party or candidate.
Our two separate & distinct roles:
Voter Services and Education: we present unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process and election issues.
Action and Advocacy: while we are nonpartisan, after study & consensus, we use our positions to advocate for or against public policies.
